Where It All Started
Back in 2006, before leagues, before academies, before international stages—there was a ball, a court, and a dream.
At Tuttle Park, Columbus Futsal began as something raw and organic. Players showed up not for trophies, but for the love of the game. Music played. Crowds gathered. The lines between player and spectator blurred.
It was simple; you came to play, you came to express, you came to belong.
The Founders Cup in a nod to Columbus Futsal's origin game—a 4v4 Hit-the-Can street tournament that captures everything the street game is meant to be: fast, creative, fearless, and deeply connected to community.
20 Years Later… It’s Bigger Than Ever
What started as a local street pickup group has grown into a movement:
Youth players who grew up in the system are now coaching, leading, and competing

High-energy street futsal competition across divisions U8-adult
Top local talent + returning legends of the game

4v4 rush (no gks), Hit-the-Can, 1v1 tiebreakers, winner stays on
Off the court:
Live DJs setting the tone all day
Local artists creating in real time
Food trucks and vendors bringing the flavor of Columbus
